Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Help in preparing annual production plan and budget for good quality semen, embryo, ovum and related products by producing good quality breeding bulls, cows, buffalos and bucks in the bull station on behalf of Deputy Manager Production.
∎ Management Bull Mother herd, Embryo Transplantation, OPU & embryo production.
∎ Properly routine checkup for animal health, vaccination, medication, heat detection, AI to the heated cows, pregnancy diagnosis, calf delivery, dystocia correction, Cesarean section, treatment and management of breeding animals.
∎ Supervise all relevant shed supervisor and laborer in the Bull Station related to animal health improvement and maintenance.
∎ Help and give coordination to the Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager, Animal Health of Bull Station in all regards related to health.
∎ All types of data base preparation, preservation and maintaining regarding animal health.
∎ Record keeping and maintaining for further analysis related to production & reproduction
∎ Report preparation, sharing reports to find the challenges and take necessary operational actions on those findings in favor of Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager, Animal Health.
∎ Any other activities should be done if supervisor prescribed
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
