∎ Seeking an Intermediate Urban Planner to manage project coordination matters, client liaison, day-to-day file management, and progression of work on a wide variety and scale of multi-disciplinary projects for work in our office. Local knowledge and relationships will be considered an asset. The expectation for this role is that the ideal candidate will strive to build a planning practice with support from other disciplines and through relationship building.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Independent preparation of Planning Due Diligence reports, Highest and Best Use Assessments, Opinion Letters and Proposal Documents
∎ Project Coordination (day-to-day file management), including maintaining, enhancing, and managing client relationships
∎ Maintains a thorough understanding of the development process in Bangladesh
∎ Provides input into conceptual design exercises
∎ Attends meetings and site-visits as-needed
∎ Maintains an up-to-date understanding of all policy framework changes and of key local policy framework changes, with the ability to inform the client's as needed
∎ Able to work independently with support from outside offices
∎ Ambitious, ready for the opportunities and challenges associated with growing a practice team

Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/Masters Degree in Urban and Regional/Rural Planning
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in land use planning and development
∎ Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator), etc.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
∎ Strong writing, organizational, and time management skills
∎ A self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic team player committed to building a culture that fosters growth and opportunities

Salary: Negotiable
