∎ Seeking an Intermediate Urban Planner to manage project coordination matters, client liaison, day-to-day file management, and progression of work on a wide variety and scale of multi-disciplinary projects for work in our office. Local knowledge and relationships will be considered an asset. The expectation for this role is that the ideal candidate will strive to build a planning practice with support from other disciplines and through relationship building.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct, instruct and guide the entrusted Survey Firm in preparing the survey plan.
∎ Monitor progress of management of data to be collected from secondary sources and preparation of the base map.
∎ Monitor progress of the field-data collection, in-house data processing, and Map production, in terms of data quality and accuracy.
∎ Maintain liaison with the counterpart staff of the client end and disseminate to the team members all information collected thereof.
∎ Receive all deliverable maps including mauza maps, raw data from the entrusted firm, check for agreed quality and accuracy, and with the consent of the Team Leader, accept the same for use. However, formal acceptance of the survey output is subject to approval by the client.
∎ Prepare, supervise, manage and monitor digital database (Spatial and Attribute) of the project area.
∎ Synchronize multi-sectoral data into a GIS database. Preparation of GIS-based quality map of a topographic, physical feature, land use, and other related maps of the project area.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 55 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in Urban Development Plan Preparation Projects as GIS Expert/Specialist.
∎ Have sound knowledge and practical experience of plot-level basic data compilation, processing, and analysis in GIS platform and subsequent mapping and plotting appropriate scale and format.
