Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh, a reputed national NGO is inviting eligible and deserving candidates to apply for the position of Upazila/ Union Coordinator to create a panel for future employment. Interested candidates are requested to apply for the position. The applicant has experience and expertise on any of the following issues:
∎ Agriculture, Human rights, Health, Nutrition, Food Security, Livelihoods development, Youth empowerment, Employment generation, Women and Children, Adolescent, Income generation, Value Chain etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communication, facilitation and motivational skill;
∎ Understanding of local culture and language is preferable;
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level;
∎ Effective computer literacy;
∎ Having problem solving and prompt decision making capacity;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender sensitive perception;
∎ Willingness and ability to drive motorcycle in the field as and when required.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is negotiable as per the level of experience and competency of candidates and project budget.

RDRS was formally established as the Bangladesh field programme of the Geneva-based Lutheran World Federation/Department for World Service (LWF/DWS) on 8 February 1972. With this aim, RDRS enables those who participate in its programme to gain the necessary skills, understanding, confidence, institutions and services; and ensure that the rural communities have the necessary economic, social and environmental resources. RDRS employees approximate 3,000 staff and works with a further approximately 3,000 volunteers and daily paid workers. The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.
