Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to all the respective areas as per plan
∎ Building relationships with local skill provider, industry owners association and private job provider to develop trade specific skilled people and job creation
∎ Establishing linkage between skill provider, skilled people, local job providers for employment/apprenticeship through the agencies
∎ Support to capacity building of targeted participants on resilient farming through training and seasonal farmers meeting to increase their production and household incomes
∎ Provide technical support to assess for job market, industry’s trade-skill gap and skill providers at local level
∎ Technical Support provide for identify appropriate vocational and skill training and decent job
∎ Develop linkage with govt. line department, private sector actors and local service providers to ensure availability of services, technology and inputs in the local market
∎ Influence and advocacy with local govt. institutions and relevant govt. department to ensure better targeting and coverage of social safety net for extreme poor
∎ Organize Facilitation at household and community level vulnerability assessment and disaster preparedness plan for resilience building
∎ Continue liaison and coordination with other Upazila coordinators for achieving the common targets.
∎ Supervise and monitoring the interventions, analysis the progress, and prepare plan to improve the gap areas at Upazilla level
∎ Support in staff appraisal and take Initiatives and actions on building the capacity of project staffs
∎ Maintain regular liaison and communication with higher authority, govt. sectors, NGOs, INGOs, LGIs and other stakeholders.
∎ Support in audit, donor visit, consultant for baseline survey, evaluation, audit etc.
∎ Participate staff meeting, staff coordination meeting and participate other project and organization related meeting
∎ Capture documentation, best practices and lesson learnt and share with supervisor
∎ Support to introduce innovations in project planned interventions
∎ Support to prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly, yearly narrative report as per project design and submit to focal person
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05years relevant job experience with NGO/development sector
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Experience in working as part of a team
∎ Strong planning/organizational skills
∎ Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
