Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any subject, relaxed in experienced person in similar activities.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the upazila project team to manage the project activities as per plan.
∎ Identification and selection of targeted people from poor and extreme poor households to participate in a transformation process for vocational and skill training and decent job.
∎ Organize participants to receive trade specific vocational and skill training from vocation training institute and skill training providers.
∎ Establishing linkage between skill provider, skilled people, local job providers for employment/apprenticeship through the agencies.
∎ Organize follow up the vocational training and post job monitoring support to employees and employers.
∎ Establish link with govt. line department, private sector actors and local service providers to ensure availability of services, technology and inputs in the local market.
∎ Prepare selection criteria and organize the beneficiaries' selection accordingly.
∎ Organize to provide grant and input support to the marginal and landless farmers for resilient farming through group farming or collective farming practice.
∎ Support to link poor and extreme poor farmers with forward market through contract farming in 6 unions and develop staff capacity accordingly.
∎ Influence and advocacy with local govt. institutions and relevant govt. department to ensure better targeting and coverage of social safety net for extreme poor.
∎ Organize capacity building support of Community Water Management Committee to manage public water ponds, mobilize local resources and advocate with local government to increase support to address the water crisis at community and ward level.
∎ Support staff to Facilitate at Union level WATSAN Committees to develop plan to supply safe water (access to public water body) for vulnerable communities.
∎ Support field staff for developing community business model to access in private pond and other locally available water sources to create a safe water supply to remote areas.
∎ Ensure support to selective extreme poor household for rain water harvesting where pond is not available
∎ Influence and advocacy with local govt. institutions and relevant govt. department to ensure better targeting and coverage of social safety net for extreme poor.
∎ Continue liaison and coordination with other Upazila coordinators for achieving the common targets.
∎ Supervise and monitoring the interventions, analysis the progress, and prepare plan to improve the gap areas at Upazilla level.
∎ Support in staff appraisal and take Initiatives and actions on building the capacity of project staffs
∎ Maintain regular liaison and communication with higher authority, govt. sectors, NGOs, INGOs, LGIs and other stakeholders.
∎ Support in audit, donor visit, consultant for baseline survey, evaluation, audit etc.
∎ Participate staff meeting, staff coordination meeting and participate other project and organization related meeting
∎ Capture documentation, best practices and lesson learnt and share with supervisor
∎ Support to introduce innovations in project planned interventions.
∎ Support to prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly, yearly narrative report as per project design and submit to focal person.
∎ Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the senior management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
∎ Excellent Report writing, Computer Skill and communication skill.
∎ Minimum 05 years of working experience in similar activities. Person experienced in DRR, WASH, Nutrition, child protection will give preference.
Salary: Tk. 56077 (Monthly)
