Responsibilities & Context:
Operate lathe machines to shape metal or plastic parts according to drawings
Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Measure and inspect finished products using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges
Set up tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for machining operations
Maintain accuracy, tolerance, and surface finish
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Follow safety rules and workplace standards
Identify and correct machining defects
Assemble, install, and fit mechanical parts and equipment
