Educational Requirements:
∎ Gradates preferably in Social Science/ Public Health/ Development Studies/ Environmental Education/ Urban Planning/ Sociology or any other relevant subject related with WASH.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Facilitate and supervise weekly hygiene awareness campaigns in markets and public areas in project areas.
∎ • Conduct daily monitoring visit through Community Facilitator, to WASH facilities to ensure that the whole WASH system is well functional with less risks and other WASH facilities to ensure best uses.
∎ • Follow and ensure that gender, GBV, protection, local culture, and other important cross-cutting concerns are taken into account in program implementation, and reporting.
∎ • Plan and ensure the distribution of hygiene kits and promote effective use of all distributed hygiene items.
∎ • Design BCC/IEC materials related to the hygiene activities and develop the associate program.
∎ • Setting up of children hygiene clubs and conducting hygiene promotion activities in schools/CFS.
∎ • Provide detail plan and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) for Hygiene kits and top up kits distribution beside other hygiene materials.
∎ • Follow up House to house hygiene session activities, prepare and compile CHPs report on weekly and monthly basis.
∎ • Guide and assist WASH committee in community mobilization and sensitization for WASH activities
∎ • Collaborate with the Project Filed Coordinator and HQ in the conducting of training needs assessment.
∎ • Planning, organizing, directing and coordinating Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProjecttrainings, workshops, symposium, meetings, etc.
∎ • Coordinate the production of training materials developed by projects, training institutions, consultants and other resource persons to such materials for training workshops.
∎ • Identifying and listing down all training programs indicated in Reducing arsenic contamination and waterborne diseases by improving access to WASH conditionsProjectdocuments and in developing training work programs and implementation time table.
∎ • Identifying the human, material, logistical and financial resources required to carry out training programs indicated in project documents.
∎ • Facilitate the deployment of these resources for the successful implementation of the training program.
∎ • Prepare support the budget needed for the execution of each training workshop and get it approved by the Director-Operations(HQ) after consulting and verifying with the Finance Section as to the availability of sufficient fund by HFH.
∎ • Coordinate trainings, workshops, seminars, symposiums etc. and ensuring their timely execution to meet objectives set out for the program.
∎ • Handle arrangements with hotels and conference centers to host/ accommodate trainings, workshop and meetings.
∎ • Developing post-training feedback assessment questionnaire to be filled out by trainees for assessment on the effectiveness of the training.
∎ • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
∎ • Participate and support in monitoring and evaluation of activities related to training programs.
∎ • Submit monthly, quarterly and annual training & workshop related activity reports at regular intervals and assist to MEAL officer for preparing all the reports
∎ • Assist in the development of training manuals and handbooks and evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
∎ • Track and report on training outcomes

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1. At least three to three years of work experience with designing and implementing water and sanitation systems, preferable in Arsenic Mitigation Program.
∎ 2. Maintaining sanitation systems, and implementing hygiene promotion programs.
∎ 3. An appreciation of WASH in health facilities and outbreak preparedness and/or response.
∎ 4. Experience in developing WASH strategy including Arsenic, clear and realistic activity planning; overseeing implementation, tracking the progress, reporting against the agreed indicators and managing project budget
∎ 5. Experience and understanding of key intuitional donors’ policies, guidelines and strategies e.g. KOICA , HFH
∎ 6. Demonstrated experience in WASH (Arsenic) proposal development and preparation of internal and donor reports.
∎ 7. Demonstrated experience of working closely with support functions (finance and logistics) on activity and procurement planning.
∎ 8. Fluent in English and Bangla is required (with local language preferable)
∎ 9. Females are encouraging to apply.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 43170 (Monthly)
∎ Consolidation including festival bonus
