Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ CDD Office is now accepting applications for Training under the project title `Strengthening systems for the enrollment, retention and support of children with disabilities at primary level of mainstream education in Bangladesh (DID TO 45)` supported by UKAID.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ ** Training Management:
∎ With the guidance from PM of TO 45 lead the arrangement of trainings;
∎ Communicate with potential participant to get confirmation for training;
∎ Ensure male & female ratio as per project guideline;
∎ Ensure food / transport allowance for participants;
∎ Compile report for individual batch and keep disability disaggregated database as per project guideline.
∎ Conduct pre-and post assessment of the participants
∎ Conduct training as per approved schedule
∎ Conduct DPOs, educational institution and others network both CDD and consortium partners to mobilize the participants
∎ Take lead in conceptualizing and initiating sub activities/tasks for planned capacity building activities/trainings, ensure timely start of sub activities and continuous follow up according to the agreed detailed work plan;
∎ Support resource person/trainers in conducting effective training sessions;
∎ Liaise with project management and consortium partners to determine training needs and schedule training sessions;
∎ Support in designing effective training module, session plan,
∎ Support PNGOs to organize training at RRC level
∎ Develop, edit, proof-read documents such as concept notes, reports, articles, proposals and any other documentation.
∎ ** Coordination:
∎ Maintain close communication with consortium members,
∎ Prepare, forward and follow-up invitation to the participants of training, workshops and meeting;
∎ Maintain and update contacts of various stakeholders regularly;
∎ Ensure voice of persons with disabilities in the capacity building activities;
∎ ** Monitoring and Reporting:
∎ Ensure monthly/quarterly planning, forecasting and performance analysis of capacity building activities for the project;
∎ Keep attendance and other records on training activities;
∎ Support in preparing training report ensuring disability, age and sex disaggregated data of the trainees;
∎ Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement of training session;
∎ Support project team in monitor project progress and ensure that the targets of capacity building activities such as trainings are achieved timely maintaining high quality;
∎ Support project team to prepare quarterly narrative report maintaining high quality;
∎ ** Capacity Building:
∎ Liaise with technical advisors (SII end)/thematic experts (CDD), downstream partners, implementing organizations and consortium members), consultants or resource persons to ensure availability of appropriate tools in guiding trainings and other capacity development initiatives;
∎ Mentor and coach participating teams in the implementation of disability inclusive activities with a view to enhancing awareness and practice on inclusive workplace, skills training and employment among consortium members and target stakeholders;
∎ ** Safeguarding:
∎ Attend safeguarding trainings and refresher sessions;
∎ Conduct safeguarding risk assessment for every training and plan for mitigating the risks with appropriate measures;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 45 years
∎ Working knowledge on Education
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding on disability related policies, acts, laws and procedures.
∎ Sound knowledge on various training methodology.
∎ Impressive interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
∎ Computer and internet skills (MS package, Email, browsing);
∎ Typing ability in both English and Bengali;

Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
