Responsibilities & Context: Job Purpose To support the Fashion Design and Product Development team in developing creative, commercially viable, and production-friendly garment designs based on market trends, buyer requirements, seasonal directions, and company capabilities. Key Responsibilities Assist designers in developing new garment styles and collections. Conduct research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, and garment details. Prepare mood boards, design concepts, sketches, and presentation materials. Assist in developing seasonal and buyer-specific collections. Prepare and maintain design files, technical information, and reference materials. Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, production, and technical teams during product development. Assist in selecting suitable fabrics, trims, colors, prints, embroidery, and embellishments. Support sample development and provide design-related comments. Modify designs based on buyer feedback and market requirements. Ensure designs are commercially feasible and suitable for production. Maintain design libraries and seasonal trend information. Assist in preparing presentations for buyers and management. Keep track of emerging fashion and apparel trends. Perform other design and product-development activities assigned by management. Experience 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Required Skills Strong creative and aesthetic sense. Basic knowledge of garment construction. Understanding of fabrics, colors, trims, prints, and embellishments. Knowledge of fashion trends and market trends. Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software. Good sketching and presentation skills. Good communication and teamwork. Ability to convert creative concepts into commercially viable products.
