Responsibilities & Context: Job Location: Sec-12, Road-6/B, House-04,Head Office / Field Operations Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits of microfinance activities and branches, identify risks, and strengthen internal control systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular internal audits of branches and microfinance operations. Review loan disbursement, collection, savings, cash transactions, and related records. Verify vouchers, registers, books of accounts, and supporting documents. Identify financial irregularities, operational weaknesses, and control deficiencies. Conduct surprise cash and operational inspections. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations. Follow up on previous audit observations and corrective actions. Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems. Conduct field visits and branch audits as required. Report significant findings and risks to management. Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in microfinance, NGO, financial services, or internal audit. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing. Knowledge of microfinance operations. Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Good communication skills. Willingness to travel to branches/field locations. Strong integrity and attention to detail.
