PROFILE OF A Ticketing & Reservation Manager
The Ticketing & Reservation Manager is responsible for overseeing all airline ticketing, travel reservations, and related services for guests and corporate clients. The role ensures accurate ticket issuance, competitive pricing, excellent customer service, and strong coordination with airlines, travel partners, and internal hotel departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE Ticketing & Reservation Manager
Manage day-to-day ticketing and reservation operations, including air tickets, re-issuance, refunds, and cancellations
Supervise and train ticketing and reservation staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Handle domestic and international airline bookings using GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.)
Ensure compliance with airline rules, IATA regulations, and company policies
Negotiate with airlines and travel partners for best fares, deals, and incentives
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Corporate Accounts for guest and client travel needs
Monitor ticketing sales, prepare reports, and analyze revenue performance
Resolve guest complaints and special travel requests promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and refunds
Ensure high standards of customer service and confidentiality at all times
