Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years’ experience in National and/or International NGOs preferably at least 3 years working experience in HIV/AIDS programs especially with people at higher risk of HIV infection (Injecting Drug Users, Female Sex Workers etc)
∎ Working experience in partnership management.
∎ Knowledge of quality assurance functions and quality improvement methods for targeted intervention with KPs
∎ Demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge in Targeted Interventions in the context of HIV and AIDS, proven experience in conducting of training for clinical staff on STI Management and Infection prevention.
∎ Experience in program planning and capacity-building initiatives.
∎ Should have the Ability to analyze information, evaluate options, and to think and plan strategically.
∎ Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with proven ability in providing OJT, coaching and mentoring DIC and outlet-level staff.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Excellent skills in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

∎ The Opportunity
∎ Technical Specialist -FDUI is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership to the project. To build the capacity of SR/SSR/ CBOs for quality program management and improvement initiatives around service delivery at the DIC and community levels under the ViiV Funded Project. S/he will guide SR and SSR/ CBOs to build staff capacity on technical issues, e.g. reaching Female Drug Users, HTS, STIs, MNCH, Mental health management, and GBV management. This position will also work in coordination with other intervention and cross-cutting units such as M&E, PWID (People who inject drugs) program (Female PWID), government coordination, and Capacity building as required. S/he will undertake periodic Quality Assessments/ Quality audits of DICs and analysis from both the ‘client’s point of view’ and ‘process point of view’ to continuously improve the effectiveness of service initiatives. S /he will support to the SR/SSR/CBOs to integrate the services at GoB facilities. Maintain strong working relationships with GOB ART/HTS and district health and hospital authorities of the implementation districts for the integration of biomedical services. S/he will maintain a relationship with ASP DSS, and DGFP for coordination of program support or integration. Responsible for generating evidence-based advocacy to ensure their Human Rights.
