Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/bachelor degree in Agriculture Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following :
∎ Performance evaluation of agro-machinery and practices used in crop production and postharvest operations in cereals and non-cereal crops
∎ Organized and conduct FGD with farmers, group leaders, service providers, traders, agri-machinery users for performance assessment of farm machinery operations and maintenance;
∎ Facilitate and conduct FGD with farmers' groups and market actors for rapid market assessment of vegetable production in Cox's Bazar;
∎ Develop training manuals on capacity building of the local service providers for operations and maintenance of the farm machinery.
∎ Develop business model for local service provider in using farm machinery for income generation;
∎ Provide skill development training to the local service providers on farm machinery operations and maintenance;
∎ Provide assistance to the DAE and FAO for field testing and adaptation of appropriate agro-machinery for the farmers in crop production and postharvest to fit with the local conditions;
∎ Provide technical assistance to the farmers' groups planning for farm production and procurement of farm machinery;
∎ Provide Technical assistance in monitoring and assessing the activities of the local service providers for generating incomes through operations of the provided farm machineries;
∎ Interact and organize meetings with the various stakeholders and partners to discuss, streamline and help them to introduce farm machinery technologies for plowing, irrigating and harvesting the lands.
∎ Perform other duties as required;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 7 years working experiences in agro-machinery and practices used in crop production and postharvest operations, farm machinery operation maintenance, market development, capacity building, training material development etc.
∎ Have clear understanding on knowledge management, documentation and reporting skill.
∎ Have a clear understanding and working experience with multi-partners and stakeholder to keep in a platform in a professional manner.
∎ Demonstrated inter-personal, negotiation and multi-tasking skills.
∎ Familiar to develop training materials.
∎ Good time management skill and ability to work with minimum supervision
∎ Practicing innovation/creativity and achieving quality results and service.
∎ Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Good report writing and documentation ability.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.

Salary: Tk. 70000 - 75000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Travel and communication allowance.
