Job Context:
∎ Location of posting : Upazila level under Kishoregonj & Netrakona district.
∎ Contract duration : Up to September 2021.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Officer-Economic Development (TO-ED) is responsible to support Field Trainer -Economic Development (FT-ED) for sustaining production and income of women, youth and men linking with sustainable service sources including access to market and information.
∎ S/he will support FT-ED to monitor progress at participant's/group level and work with the Upazila Coordinator (UC) to prescribe remedial actions.
∎ S/he will be assigned to support FT-ED to engage directly with the participants, group leaders and public (UP & NBDs) and private service providers and at times may need to deal with the Public and Private Service Providers as directed by the UC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 4-5 years working experience in market focus food security program.
∎ Have clear understanding on savings and women's economic empowerment, service models and markets.
∎ Have basic understanding on sustainability issue, opportunities and challenges.
∎ Understanding Food Security as an overarching concept of development
∎ Good understanding of Bangla and basic English Language
∎ Good report writing and facilitation and networking skill
∎ Have valid Motorcycle driving license and willingness to drive
Salary: Tk. 31513 (Monthly)
