Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree, preferably in Nutrition/Social Science or relevant discipline, degree in Public Health will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The overall responsibility of this position is to guide and coordinate with the Suchana field team on high quality planning, managing and scaling up the nutrition and MNCH components of the project.
∎ S/he will work closely with other sector Specialists, Technical Advisors to ensure i) that Nutrition and MNCH components are integrated with other programmes/sectors, ii) that quality of nutrition related interventions and SBCC maintains high (national and international) standards, iii) that all relevant coalition members and front line workers have adequate, knowledge, skills and capacity to deliver best quality interventions, iv) that interventions are delivered with and through Govt. system.
∎ S/he will build strategic relationships to ensure coordination with other key nutrition stakeholders including UN agencies, regional level forums and the Government of Bangladesh at district and downwards level as appropriate.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience in the field of food security and Nutrition, maternal and child health related programme implementation at district level.
∎ S/he is expected to have experience in working with MOHFW and other GoB sectors at district level
∎ Sufficient skills in leading Nutrition/MCHN programme, preparing training curriculum in health & nutrition, facilitating training courses.
∎ Also, data management and interpretation skills, with ability to coordinating with other NGOs, UN Agencies.
