Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
University degree on Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, Urban Planning or a related field will be given preference.
Age at least 25 years which is flexible for competitive candidates.
Minimum of 02 years working experience in sanitation project management, infrastructure development, or technology implementation [ideally in technologies related to sanitation, waste management], technology-based quality control section of any private and commercial company which is not limited to cleaning company, housekeeping services etc.
Proven experience in managing teams and stakeholders effectively.
Strong understanding of automation technologies, particularly in the context of public sanitation facilities.
Familiarity with sanitation systems, inclusive design principles, and the needs of diverse user groups, including women, children, and differently abled individuals.
Experience in trouble shooting technical issues and providing timely solutions.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques.
Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management.
Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions for public service delivery.
Knowledge of sustainable development principles and environmentally friendly practices.
Experience in MS word, MS excel, MS power point. Any other IT related experience will carry additional value for the candidates.

Bhumijo is looking for an energetic, passionate mind to contribute as Operation manager. The key objective of the position is to lead operation team to ensure the quality of service and business sustainability.
Job purpose:
The Operational Manager is upper mid-level staff member of Bhumijo. The overall purpose of the job is to lead operation team to ensure the quality of services with innovative technical support. The specific responsibilities are to provide technical assistance in smooth functioning of technologies at each of public sanitation facility, work closely with external consultant(s) for different technological options, work with vendors/consultant(s) for troubleshooting.
The Operational Manager, in close collaboration with colleagues, COO, CEO, and in consultation with relevant stakeholders/vendors/consultant(s) will also (i) identify areas of different innovative technologies options for effective management and monitoring of public sanitation system; (ii) take key role in maintaining accountability for sustainable and cost effective interventions and management; (iii) ensure real-time segregated data/information collection, analysis and management; (iv) warrant quality of service delivery mechanisms.
To ensure quality and sustainability of the public sanitation system, s/he will have to follow the highest possible standards as laid out in the company’s policies and procedures.
Principle accountabilities:
Automation Management (25%)
All aspects of the automation of public sanitation facilities including planning, implementation and progress monitoring independently in-line with company’s requirement.
Working with staff of facilities, executives and relevant colleagues to identify needs for capacity building focusing on system strengthening, automation and other technologies.
Documentation and analytical reports are made available in a timely and accessible way.
Provide technical assistance and advice to relevant colleagues at facilities through regular monthly / weekly meetings, regular facility visits and feedback.
Stakeholders Management (20%)
Identify stakeholders with whom Bhumijo Ltd can works to develop/strengthen automated system in the public sanitation facilities which has close connection with central office of Bhumijo.
Work on development of contract with stakeholders/IT firms/contractors in providing technical supports as per the approved TOR.
Negotiate efficiently with stakeholders/IT firms/contractors to ensure ‘value for money’ for Bhumijo Ltd.
Ensure the deliverables have been delivered by stakeholders/IT firms/ contractors in stipulated time maintaining standard level of quality.
Trouble shooting and technical assistance (30%)
Develop mechanism in managing technical issues raised at facility level to provide quality sanitation services.
Set KPIs to resolve the technical trouble within shortest period of time.
Provide technical assistance to facilities once they are requiring for.
Innovation (25%)
Support in developing a dashboard to monitor raising requests from facilities, addressing the requests, necessary responses, action taken and completion of action etc.
Support in development and demonstrate cost effective, user friendly and environmentally sustainable innovations public sanitation interventions.
