Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's or master's degree in education, adult education, social sciences, or a related field.
∎ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in adult education program management, preferably in Bangladesh or a similar context.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Customized and develop and implement comprehensive adult education component/ guideline/ module that address the specific needs and challenges of diverse urban poor households in Dhaka north and south city corporation.
∎ Coordinate with NGOs, institution and other stakeholders to identify adult education priorities, align program strategies, and ensure compliance of the programme.
∎ Conduct needs assessments and gather data to identify the specific educational needs and skill gaps of adult learners in different both city corporation.
∎ Design, adapt and develop curriculum materials, instructional resources, and learning materials appropriate for adult learners, ensuring cultural sensitivity and relevance.
∎ Design and develop agreement / Memorandum of Understanding with relevant institutions and research organisations.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to community education volunteer and Graduation Mentors involved in adult education programs.
∎ Develop tools to analysis the education volunteers and Graduation Mentors performance and mechanism to develop them to keep on right track.
∎ Support Programme Coordinator to manage programme budget, track education related expenses and will ensure efficient and effective management of financial and programme resources.
∎ Organize and conduct trainings, workshops, and capacity-building sessions for adult education staff and partners.
∎ Represent the organization in the forums/ meeting with different institutions and local Govt administration related with education
∎ Monitor program implementation to ensure quality, effectiveness, and adherence to established standards and best practices.
∎ Collaborate with monitoring and evaluation teams to develop data collection tools, track program progress, and assess impact.
∎ Support the development and implementation of innovative teaching methodologies, strategies, and technologies to enhance adult learning outcomes.
∎ Identify and promote opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and resource mobilization to sustain and expand adult education initiatives.
∎ Prepare regular reports, documentation, and knowledge products to share program achievements, lessons learned, case stories and best practices.
∎ Deserving candidate should have the strong skill to work with a team and share the field findings with self-eagerness.
∎ Self-eagerness to move in the Slum area and work with UGGP team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, methodologies, and best practices.
∎ Familiarity with the education system, policies, and challenges in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and material adaptation for adult learners.
∎ Excellent organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
∎ Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community representatives.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and Bengali (both written and spoken).
∎ Proficiency in using technology for education and familiarity with relevant software applications.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to promoting gender equality, inclusion, and social justice in education.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
