Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the related field.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Unix).
Understanding of computer hardware, virtualization, and system architecture.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system security.
Preferred Skills and Competencies.
Experience with server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Design & Implementation:
System Design and Implementation.
Design, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and operating systems.
Plan and deploy system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
Ensure system architecture aligns with business and technical requirements.
System Administration and Maintenance:
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Perform regular system maintenance and preventive checks.
Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions.
Network & Infrastructure Support:
Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Ensure secure and efficient data communication between systems.
Coordinate with network and security teams to maintain infrastructure integrity.
Security and Data Protection:
Implement system security policies, firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
Monitor systems for security threats and vulnerabilities.
Ensure data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans are in place.
Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures.
Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
Provide technical reports and recommendations to management.
User and Technical Support:
Provide technical support to users and ICT staff when required.
Train users on system usage, security best practices, and new technologies.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system-related support.
