• Planning and running system deployments and rollouts

• VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V

• Active Directory/LDAP, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP

• Advanced Windows Server and Linux administration

• Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID

• PowerShell/Bash scripting

• Backup (e.g. Veeam) and SAN/NAS storage

• Networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)

• Design, install and configure internal and customer-facing servers, storage, network devices and firewalls

• Run and maintain systems for all RSGT business units

• Proactively manage, maintain and tune servers, storage and virtualization platforms, including capacity and end-of-life planning

• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, reporting and scripted automation to enable a hands-off environment

• Manage patching, vulnerability remediation and system hardening against approved security baselines

• Administer backup, restore and disaster recovery, and test recovery plans regularly

• Ensure compliance with NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) and internal policies; support internal and external audits

• Follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management processes through the ITSM tool

• Administer hybrid and cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID)

• Define and document best practices, support procedures, inventory and asset configuration

• Provide after-hours support for infrastructure emergencies, as well as occasional weekend maintenance
