Responsibilities & Context:
∎ System administration (System and Data Center engineers, BASIS admin); set goals. provide guidance, and support skill development
∎ Administer Linux, Windows, SAP, and HANA systems, ensuring high availability. performance, security, and incident responses
∎ Oversee system upgrades, backups, and VMWare administration; manage deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and core IT infrastructure; provide SAP support as needed
∎ Develop and implement system administration plans, maintain accurate hardware and software inventories, and oversee related asset lifecycle management
∎ Oversee secure and efficient data center operations, including disaster recovery testing and environmental controls
