Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for highly motivated ‘Sustainability Developer Interns’ with a strong passion for climate change, sustainability, and business transparency requirements. This is a PAID internship opportunity, and the ideal candidate will support the development, design, and execution of sustainability-driven projects and initiatives in diverse industrial sectors, corporations, and development partners. This role provides an excellent opportunity and exposure for aspiring professionals seeking hands-on experience in sustainability and technology.

Upon successful completion, the internship will lead to a full-time position as a ‘Sustainability Developer/ Engineer’.

Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist in the development, design, and execution of sustainability-driven projects and initiatives across various industrial sectors, corporations, and development partners.
• Data Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather, validate, and analyse data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting.
• Sustainability Report Writing: Contribute to the writing of sustainability reports in line with international ESG standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, IFRS, ESRS, TCFD).Initiative Development: Support the creation and implementation of sustainability initiatives and projects.
• Energy Assessment: Actively participate in conducting comprehensive energy audits for various facilities. Analyse energy consumption, identify areas for improvement, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations to enhance energy efficiency and reduce costs.
• Material Circularity: Support the implementation of our circular strategy, working closely with senior leadership to integrate circular business models and enhance our sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with various teams and external partners to drive our transformation into a circular business.
• Sustainable Solutions: Work with teams to develop solutions that enhance energy efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
• Research and Innovation: Conduct research on the latest sustainability technologies and trends, offering innovative ideas to improve our practices.
• Practice Integration: Contribute to integrating sustainable practices across various industry aspects, aligning with the company’s sustainability objectives.
• Metrics Tracking: Help track, analyse, and report on sustainability metrics to monitor progress and impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability principles are incorporated into various projects.Branding and Promotion: Support in creating promotional materials and branding efforts to communicate the client's sustainability achievements to stakeholders.
