Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Chef, Housekeeping, Cleaners, Gardeners, and Electricians to ensure efficient operations.
∎ Conduct daily team briefings, assigning tasks and setting priorities for each department.
∎ Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring that tasks are carried out to the highest standard.
∎ Monitor performance, provide feedback, and report on staff progress.
∎ Ensure that all operations follow the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
∎ Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene protocols, and other relevant regulations for the Chef and Housekeeping teams.
∎ Enforce safety standards and proper maintenance practices for electricians and gardeners.
∎ Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of work, such as cleanliness of rooms, kitchen hygiene, electrical safety, and garden maintenance.
∎ Provide regular updates to the Facilities Manager regarding the progress and performance of all departments.
∎ Identify training needs for the Chef, Housekeeping, Cleaners, Gardeners, and Electricians.
∎ Ensure that all team members understand and adhere to the established health, safety, and operational procedures.
∎ Supervise the scheduling of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for all departments to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Monitor the inventory of supplies (cleaning materials, gardening tools, kitchen items, etc.), and provide necessary reports for procurement.
∎ Take necessary actions in case of emergencies, such as electrical failures or maintenance issues.
∎ Maintain records of staff performance, tasks completed, and issues raised.
∎ Ensure all work schedules, inventory, and maintenance logs are up to date.
∎ Ensure that all staff work in compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including safe handling of equipment, chemicals, and food.
∎ Ensure that the working environment is safe for all staff and that proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is used where necessary.
∎ Objective:
∎ The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the Chef, Housekeeping, Cleaners, Gardeners, and Electricians. The goal is to ensure that all staff in these categories adheres to the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, safety, and quality. This position ensures coordination among various departments to maintain the overall well-being of the building and the comfort of its occupants.
