Job Context
SPL Agro is an innovative, integrated farm based in Savar that focuses on a "zero-waste" ecosystem. By combining Cows and Dumba (fat-tailed sheep) with Ducks, Hens, and Exotic Birds, the farm uses biological waste to naturally fertilize its Ornamental Fish ponds. This circular approach ensures the production of premium, hormone-free meat, dairy, and livestock while maintaining a diverse collection of high-value species.
Responsibilities & Context
Plan and coordinate farm operations as well as livestock care.
Administer vaccines, treatments, and medication in compliance with health protocols.
Develop and implement farming plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize productivity and profitability.
Monitor livestock health, and environmental conditions to identify issues and implement corrective measures.
Supervise and train farm workers, contractors, and seasonal laborers.
Preference will be given if you have experience raising 8–10 batches about Boiler and Layer hen.
Preference will be given if you have good knowledge about exotic birds.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of barns, pastures, and equipment.
