Educational Requirements:
∎ B,Sc in Mass Communication or any subject from reputed educational institution.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Editing news copies for print and digital media for factual accuracy and conciseness under time pressure.
∎ Editing special reports and features for print and digital media, for better storytelling, flow and appropriate tone and style.
∎ Writing engaging news and feature-style captions for photos and photo series.
∎ Rewriting news and feature copies as required.
∎ Proofreading news and feature stories for grammar, spelling, flow and factual accuracy.
∎ Occasionally writing reports or features for print and digital media.
∎ Translating Bangla text to English.
∎ Coordinating with news department to ensure timely and high-quality online news.
∎ Coordinating with reporters and sub-editors under the leadership of Online Editor.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Online Editor, Executive Editor or The Editor & Publisher.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Strong English skills with good grasp of grammar, vocabulary and writing style.
∎ Excellent observational and critical thinking skills.
∎ An inquisitive mind with basic understanding of journalistic principles.
∎ Punctuality and ability to work with very tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to clearly communicate with people of different backgrounds.
