Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Counselor, you will assist students throughout their visa application process and ensure every procedure regarding that. Your responsibilities will include:
∎ Conducting comprehensive assessments of students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to provide personalized guidance and support.
∎ Assisting students in identifying and exploring suitable educational programs, universities, and colleges based on their individual needs and aspirations.
∎ Providing accurate and up-to-date information to students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines for various educational institutions.
∎ Guiding students through the entire application process, including reviewing and editing application essays, resumes, and recommendation letters.
∎ Conducting counseling sessions to address students' academic, personal, and emotional concerns, and providing guidance on coping with stress and making informed decisions.
∎ Organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and information sessions to educate students about different educational opportunities, scholarships, and financial aid options.
∎ Collaborating with educational institutions, universities, and scholarship providers to stay updated on admission criteria, program offerings, and scholarship opportunities.
∎ Keeping accurate records of students' academic progress, application status, and communication history to ensure effective tracking and follow-up.
∎ Assisting students in visa application procedures by providing guidance on required documents, timelines, and embassy/consulate regulations.
∎ Liaising with other departments within the counseling company to ensure seamless coordination and support for students' needs.
∎ Keeping abreast of changes in educational policies, trends, and industry developments to provide informed guidance to students.
∎ Actively participating in professional development activities, attending conferences, and engaging in continuous learning to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
∎ Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in handling students' personal information and sensitive matters.
∎ Demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism while addressing inquiries, concerns, and challenges students and their families face.
∎ Collaborating with the counseling team to develop and implement strategies to improve student satisfaction, success, and retention.
