Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direction of the Stewarding Manager and within the limits of established Renaissance Hotels Policies & Procedures oversees and directs the day to day operation of the Stewarding Department.
∎ Assists the Chief Steward to manage all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum departmental costs.
∎ Assists the Chief Steward to manage all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum level of Sanitation.
∎ Controls and analyzes on an ongoing basis , the level of the following :
∎ a) Costs
∎ b) Breakage
∎ c) Quality of support provided to other sections. Condition and cleanliness of facilities.
∎ d) Condition and cleanliness of equipment Consumption of operating supplies
∎ e) Consumption of chemicals
∎ Establishes and maintains effective employee and inter – departmental working relationships
∎ Conducts such functions as , performance evaluation , coaching , counseling and taking disciplinary actions to ensure the appropriate staff productivity and efficiency.
∎ Assists the Chief Steward in developing with the Training Manager , training plans ,
∎ develops training material in accordance with Hotel guidelines and implements training plans for the stewarding employees.
∎ Conducts daily briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results.
∎ Attends and participates in other meetings as required by the administrative calendar.
∎ Assists the Chief Steward to Keep an updated Hotel Policies & Procedures
∎ a) Finance
∎ b) Standards
∎ c) Personnel and Training
∎ d) Outlets
∎ e) Meetings
∎ f) Material & Equipment

∎ Age at least 23 years
