Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order, being sure to report any deficiencies.
∎ Lead and supervise the Night Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed.
∎ Assisting colleagues, steward management, and the culinary team in working to their best.
∎ Assist with food safety compliance.
∎ Assist with food production compliance.
∎ Conduct training and retraining as necessary.
∎ Maintain effective business relationships with staff.
∎ Tour areas of responsibility at least 2-4 times daily.
∎ Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all kitchen and dish room equipment.
∎ Familiarize yourself with Company Health and Safety Policies and ensure your areas promote and comply with them.
