MAAS Travel & Tours is a leading travel management company and the exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) for Air India in Bangladesh. To strengthen our commercial team, we are looking for a Senior Sales Executive with solid airline sales experience in the Bangladesh market.
Job Context
This is a full-time, office-based position located in Dhaka. The role reports to the Sales Manager / Head of Commercial and focuses on driving passenger sales, managing travel agent relationships, and supporting revenue growth for Air India’s Bangladesh operation.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly and quarterly passenger sales targets for Air India’s Dhaka operation.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with IATA travel agents, consolidators, and corporate clients.
Conduct regular trade visits and agent calls to promote Air India products, fares, and special schemes.
Assist in organizing roadshows, trade seminars, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor competitor activities (fares, promotions, capacity) and provide regular market intelligence to management.
Support the sales team in group bookings, corporate deals, and special fare requests.
Coordinate with the ticketing and reservation team to ensure smooth customer service.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and forecasts.
Represent Air India and MAAS Travel & Tours at industry events when required.
