∎ Age 25 to 35 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ # Responsible to follow up all necessary requirements of Woven Jacket / polar fleece items.
∎ # Communicating with buyers/ head office colleague by mail (mostly) for new queries as well as for updates status
∎ # Meeting with vendors and explaining new development, Sol’s requirement to the vendor team.
∎ # Collecting of garment samples, trims and different types of swatches from vendors.
∎ # Submission of samples to Sol’s Paris office through courier and follow up with buyers and product development team for approvals and feedback
∎ # Follow up with vendors for samples and regular production planning
∎ # Giving approval on samples and accessories where buyer/ head office staffs intervention is not required
∎ # Updating latest comments on particular styles or order to vendor representative as well as Sol’s QA team
∎ # Communicating with factory for update order status and inform to the Paris buying department at all stages
∎ # Communicating with factory to Execution of running orders (production) and Visit to the vendor site for necessary reason.
∎ # Preparation of material requirement and Sourcing of materials for new development as well as for running order.
∎ # Selection and finalizing of vendors for the upcoming orders and regular order based on vendor’s experience of making similar products.
∎ # Costing and negotiation with trim & accessory suppliers as well as with garment supplier.
∎ # Communicating with supplier to preparing inspection schedule for shipment and notifying to quality department or third party (if necessary).
∎ # Maintaining files for all necessary needs,
∎ # Updating Time and Action calendar (if required)
