Experience:
Master’s degree in any subject from a recognized university.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field will get preference.
Proven working experience in Local Purchase.
Proven working experience in the Tender process (OTM, LTM, RFQ, etc).
Sound knowledge of the local market for different types of tools, machinery and spare parts.
Saic Group contributes its effort on a large scale in the education sector in the whole of Bangladesh. Almost One Thousand (Administrative + Academic) staff are employed under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Students continue their studies under Saic Group. Now we are looking for a candidate for the post of Sr. Executive/Executive-Procurement for Rumdo Institute of Modern Technology (RIMT), Mymensingh.
As a Sr. Executive/Executive-Procurement, will play a role in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement process for goods and services required to support the organization. Your responsibilities will include vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards. You will ensure integrity, accountability, cost and service efficiency, and effectiveness in all Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics (Store, Distribution, transport, etc.) procedures and practices of the organization.
Accumulate requisitions of all local products for proper sourcing & on-time delivery (OTD).
Collect price quotations & prepare a comparative statement (CS) and obtain approval from the authorized personnel.
Maintain procurement document flow (PDF) by preparing necessary purchase/work order (PO/WO) & providing to the supplier & follow up with them to ensure on-time delivery.
Liaise with the concerned department/material control in order to confirm the receipts of goods/materials & find out any discrepancies in technical specs, quality, quantity or any other parameters.
Coordinate with all relevant parties & resolve all difficulties/issues that occurred during sourcing or for any return/replacement due to a quality problem.
Conduct market survey to develop alternative suppliers for price competitiveness, improved quality & enhanced sourcing.
Develop a sourcing plan from local sources, so that faster & efficient sourcing operations can be possible.
Maintain a database of all requisitions, sourcing & delivery plans as per priority & monthly payment schedule for all concerned suppliers.
Ability to work with various levels of suppliers from the local and international market.
Excellent teamwork skills and proven aptitude to partner effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (i.e., top management, colleagues, suppliers, and internal/external customers).
Ability to work independently, prioritize and multitask while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
Ensuring the monthly report and Daily work report, pipe line materials report.
Any other task assigned by the Management from time to time.
