Strong knowledge on Textiles & Apparel industry Budgeting and Costing
Responsibilities & Context:
Assist HOD to Create and draft Monthly/Quarterly/annual or project-specific budgets in collaboration with other departments, ensuring they align with the organization's financial goals.
Check the cost sheets for each product style or batch to determine the accurate cost price.
Strong Knowledge about YOY Budgeting-sales, Capacity, OPEX and CAPEX.
Analyses cost variances, identify trends, prepare detailed reports on expense analyses and provide actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.
Implement best practices in budget methodology to improve accuracy and efficiency across all departments.
Maintain up-to-date records of costing data, including raw material prices, labor rates, and overhead costs.
Prepare regular and ad hoc costing reports for management, highlighting key cost drivers and variances.
Analyze the impact of different cost factors on product profitability and advice on adjustments to improve margins.
Continuously assess and refine costing methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Assist budgeting processes by compiling data from various departments to create comprehensive forecasts.
Design effective budget models for departments as well as the organization.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to calculate the cost of new designs, prototypes and product samples.
Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines.
Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures.
Gathers historical cost data (labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.), to compare budgets with actual expenses.
Other reporting requirements as advised from time to time.
