- Candidate should have knowledge about Quality management reports, budgetary control, capital expenditure, WCM, internal control, cost reduction, capital expenditure policy and guidelines.
- Candidates must have strong knowledge about factory accounts.
Responsibilities & Context: - Develop and maintain cost accounting systems for tracking production costs, labor, and overhead.
- Prepare product costing, Contribution Margin (CM) analysis, Break Even Point (BEP) analysis, Margin of Safety (MS) analysis.
- Analyze and report on production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, including variance analysis, to assist management in decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accurate cost estimations.
- Monitor actual costs against budgeted costs, providing insights into discrepancies.
- Oversee the cost accounting for inventory, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
- Work closely with the production and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Maintain accurate records of all factory-related financial transactions.
- Reconcile factory accounts, ensuring all costs are accurately captured and reported.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost accounting and factory operations.
- Factory petty cash management.
