Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA in preferably from renowned public/private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Set up and localization sourcing status controlling of Buyer request for following not limited to - Art related techniques, various Raw and Sub materials in local Bangladesh
∎ Review of Sourcing material input/output, Quality verification and Price records keeping.
∎ Approval of Production Sample (local sourcing material)
∎ Lead the procurement & sourcing department.
∎ Able to deal purchase independently.
∎ Strong ability to negotiate with suppliers both overseas and local.
∎ To develop all necessary procurement related documents, formats, charts etc.
∎ Prepare purchase requisitions, approve, issues purchase orders and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase in accordance with company policy.
∎ Collection of purchase requirements submitted by the concern departments / Unites / Sites and prepare comparative statements.
∎ Search for the new and alternative procurement sources.
∎ Ensure checking of price of the procured goods by visiting the market frequently.
∎ Maintaining of different registers of procurement department.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of requested materials to the concerned department.
∎ Collection and processing of bill for ensuring timely payment.
∎ Provide procurement related reports as a when required.
∎ Follow-up the new item develops & gets approval from buyer.
∎ Timely check the vessel & air schedule of overseas material.
∎ LC handling of local & overseas supplier.
∎ Material testing arrangement and follow up (3rd party lab, WM CTL) etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Garments (Sourcing and Material/ Purchase)
∎ Maximum 30 Years (in case of experience the age limit will be flexible).
∎ Excellent command on both listening, spoken and written English.
∎ Candidate must have knowledge on commercial.
∎ Strong analytical ability to adapt to different buyer needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships with supplier.
∎ Proficiency skills in order to analysis fact and figures.
∎ The ability to lead and motivate a team.
∎ Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
∎ Must be expert in Computer operating such as Ms. Word, Excel, Power point, Email and Internet browsing etc.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Proactive and positive attitude.
∎ Working experience in the related field will be preferred.
