Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Arrange personnel for manufacturing activities following the monthly work schedule.
∎ Ensure efficient allocation of manpower to meet production targets.
∎ Oversee all activities of various production stages according to cGMP guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)/Work Instructions.
∎ Ensure reconciliation of any batch and handover to the In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) department for batch release.
∎ Identify and report any machinery breakdown or requirement for engineering work by raising maintenance requests.
∎ Work with the maintenance department to ensure timely repairs and minimize production downtime.
∎ Ensure personnel are adequately trained for their assigned activities.
∎ Support skill development and continuous learning within the production team.
∎ Implement and enforce all HSE protocols within the designated production area.
∎ Conduct safety briefings and ensure employees adhere to safe work practices.
∎ Report any potential safety hazards or near misses.
∎ Perform assigned jobs in the manufacturing area in the absence of regular staff.
∎ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities.
∎ Report production progress and performance metrics to the supervisor.
