• Familiarity with 5S implementation and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in SAP/ERP/Oracle systems for production monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities & Context:

Role Purpose

The Specialist Engineer – Production (Refrigerator Assembly Line) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production operations in the refrigerator assembly line. The role requires strong leadership to manage a large workforce, ensure smooth material flow, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and 5S practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily/weekly production schedules for the assembly line.

• Monitor and control production numbers, ensuring alignment with Finished Goods targets.

• Lead and manage a large workforce, ensuring discipline, motivation, and productivity.

• Monitoring SFG stocks for proper assembly operations.

• Ensure strict adherence to 5S standards and implement Lean Six Sigma tools for process improvement.

• Oversee the preparation, operation, and maintenance of Polyurethane (PU) Machines and mold specifications.

• Manage tank yard operations, ensuring smooth chemical supply and safety compliance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve PU chemical-related issues, ensuring consistent production quality.

• Apply knowledge of thermal conductivity, density, and other critical parameters in chemical operations for process optimization.

• Provide hands-on expertise in PU chemical formulations and support trials for new materials.

• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and bottlenecks.

• Optimize material flow and ensure efficient utilization of resources on the line.

• Track and report production KPIs, highlighting variances and implementing corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards at all times.
