Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the Develop and implement Cash for Work programs that address both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term development goals.
∎ Conduct assessments to identify vulnerable populations, determine feasibility of Cash for Work interventions, and establish appropriate targeting criteria.
∎ Design program plans, budgets, and monitoring mechanisms that adhere to humanitarian standards and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and local authorities to ensure effective coordination and integration of Cash for Work activities into broader humanitarian and development initiatives.
∎ Provide technical expertise and guidance to the implementing project team, field staff, and community members on Cash for Work program design and implementation.
∎ Monitor program progress, track expenditures, and conduct evaluations to measure impact, effectiveness, and efficiency of Cash for Work interventions.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, maintain accurate records, and facilitate timely cash distributions to beneficiaries.
∎ Analyze data, identify lessons learned, and contribute to knowledge sharing on best practices in cash programming for humanitarian response and development activities
∎ Stay informed about relevant trends, innovations, and guidelines in cash transfer programming and livelihood interventions.

∎ We are seeking a competent and experienced Specialist - Cash for Work - with expertise in implementing cash for work activities within both humanitarian response and development projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and evaluating Cash for Work programs that enhance the resilience and economic empowerment of host communities in Cox’s Bazar.
