Minimum 8 years working experience ith progressively increasing training and development related responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development in the Bangladeshi context Proven experience managing training components on large, complex donor-funded projects (with strong preference for past USAID-funded project management experience)

JOB PURPOSE
S/he will lead the capacity building activities of the project. Responsible for plan, coordinate and manage all capacity development activities of the Community-led Climate Smart Innovations to Address Climate Change Impacts project for both internal and external stakeholders. S/he will responsible for design all training for the UDMCs and WDMCs and ensure adult learning methodologies are incorporated into the climate smart agriculture trainings and WASH trainings. S/he will responsible for arrange training, workshop and other capacity development related activities maintaining the required quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare annual capacity development plans for programme participants (including partners staff, community members, local government officials and others stakeholders).
Responsible to design all training for the UDMCs and WDMCs and ensure adult learning methodologies are incorporated into the climate smart agriculture trainings and WASH trainings.
Conduct training needs assessment of Community-led Climate Smart Innovations to Address Climate Change Impacts of project participants (including community members, local government officials and elected representatives, youth and adolescents) and field staff.
Ensure training module development as per projects requirements.
Organise capacity building training workshop, meeting, seminar, conference as per projects requirements.
Maintain thorough documentation of all capacity development related activities of the project and prepare quarterly consolidated training reports.
Follow up and monitor training/workshop delivery and review effectiveness of capacity development activities through regular field visits.
Provide support to manage training logistics including arranging resource persons, venues, materials, etc.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Project Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
