Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Head Office in Banani, Dhaka. Occasional field visits outside Dhaka may be required
∎ Job Description:
∎ We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully interact with team members and project managers on a daily basis. This person will participate in the design, development, and support of web applications.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Writing code for new and existing projects
∎ Optimizing code for maintainability, scalability, and security.
∎ Implementing user experience improvements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
∎ Troubleshoot bugs/problems and determine solutions.
∎ Partner with cross functional disciplines both internal and external, to develop, test and maintain the application.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one year of experience in web development.
∎ Strong skills on React or Angular JS, good understanding on MVC and OOP
∎ Knowledge in jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript
∎ Understanding Bootstrap 4, HTML5 & CSS3
∎ Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
∎ Experience in java web application (preferably spring) will be a plus
∎ Solid understanding of software design principles and patterns, and experience applying them.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
