Job Context:
∎ Project: Child Labour-Action-Research-Innovation in South and South-Eastern Asia (CLARISSA)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Elaborate, oversee, and update workplan for PLUS activities that accompany cash transfers within overall CASH PLUS intervention
∎ Recruit, manage and supervise lead community facilitators and community facilitators
∎ Supervision and capacity building of staff in community mobilization.
∎ Develop, set up and manage case management tools in support of PLUS activities (including home visits, community-based and participatory action activities) and continuous data collection
∎ Develop and implement tools/ mechanisms for children's participation in and monitoring of complementary / PLUS activities
∎ Elaborate workplans for PLUS activities
∎ Identify and manage training needs of (lead) community facilitators
∎ Monitor and report on PLUS processes / activities, including expenditures
∎ Serve as first point of contact (through community facilitators) in case there are issues with the payment of cash transfers related to technical issues and social tensions
∎ Coordinate activities (including case management and monitoring) with the Tdh senior cash transfer manager and the country coordinator
∎ Represent the consortium in social protection working groups / meetings and in relevant government meetings.
∎ Provide technical inputs into IDS / BIGD evaluation activities
∎ Undertake any other duties that may be determined by the supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Familiar with social protection systems and actors in Dhaka;
∎ Experience in setting up and managing household and individual level coaching or case management interventions;
∎ Solid experience in managing community empowerment projects;
∎ Proven experience in working with marginalised and disadvantaged communities; preferably in urban slums.
∎ Good knowledge of and experience using participatory methods with marginalised and disadvantaged communities and children;
∎ Demonstrable competencies in the use of community facilitation/mobilization approaches and techniques;
∎ Experience in building the capacity and mentoring of community facilitators / mobilisers;
∎ Experience in monitoring and reporting on community projects;
∎ Experience in managing budgets, including monitoring expenditure;
∎ Experience in Participatory Action Research is highly desirable.
∎ Excellent planning and coordination skills;
∎ Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy;
∎ Fluency in Bangla and a high level of written and spoken English;
∎ Good teamworking and interdepartmental collaboration skills;
∎ Excellent skills in Microsoft office;
∎ Holder of an master's degree in a social science or relevant subject
