Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s Degree in any discipline (Flexible for highly experienced candidates) with at least 5 years job experience in development field with WASH Project.

Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan BahadurAhsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health& WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 14 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Social Entrepreneurs Capacity Building Officer of Max Foundation Bangladesh supported Project titled “Building Water Sanitation EntrepreneurshipProgram” covering Patuakhali region. It’s a Patuakhali based position which will act as the key person of capacity building for staff and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement and manage WASH activities in the field according to project guideline.
∎ Regular visit, supervise, monitor, support and follow-up of field team on implementation of project activities.
∎ Assist Project Coordinator to plan for WASH related training, workshop, seminar and meeting.
∎ Consider of disaster resilient features, gender sensitivity, inclusive approach as a cross cutting issue during programme planning and implementation.
∎ Contribute to establishing project baseline information through conducting the community situation analysis (CSA), baseline survey, need assessments and beneficiaries’ selection.
∎ Assist Monitoring officer for verification and validation of data on progress of project on monthly & quarterly basis.
∎ Share field findings, challenges and areas in need for improvement with line manager on regular basis.
∎ Provide detailed, accurate and timely reports to the line manager as per requirement of the project need.
∎ Participate in cluster meetings, and other coordination meetings assigned by project manager.
∎ Ensure effective communication and coordination with project staffs and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure a supportive business ecosystem (local government, suppliers) for entrepreneurs.
∎ Creates demand & ensure supply & establish linkage with private sectors.
∎ Facilitate HV, coordination with Union Parishad, LE & LE associations, DPHE.
∎ Increased investment, sales and quality service.
∎ Awareness raising and demand creation.
∎ Facilitate training for field staff and relevant stakeholders for their capacity development in relation with WASH activities.
∎ Support and develop capacity development training module on WASH and hygiene issue for frontline staffs,entrepreneur association, community leaders and project beneficiaries.
∎ Support entrepreneurs to sell products and services that support healthy behaviors.
∎ Capacity-building on women leadership/entrepreneurship.
∎ Contract & mange entrepreneur association (EA), monitoring & supervision.
∎ Taking on the local level lobby and advocacy work, participate UP, UZ level coordination meeting.
∎ Linkage with LE between micro-finance & financial Institute.
∎ Manage budget for the assigned WASH activities and ensure all expenses are according to budget line.
∎ Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed.
∎ Willingness frequent field missions.
∎ To do any other task or assignment which will assign by higher management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in sanitation marketing, local entrepreneurship development, entrepreneur association and payment by result (PbR) Project.
∎ Experience with working in Microfinance institution & financial institution will be value added.
∎ Good Knowledge of Project Management, Implementation, Coordination, Networking.
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies, donors and local government authorities at field level.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationship with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively; Flexibility and stress-management.
∎ Willingness to accept frequent field missions. Driving motorbike with valid driving license.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationship with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to Dhaka Ahsania Missions vision, mission and long-term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized candidates must be capable of displaying great learning ability, support and encourage knowledge sharing across project, for the ultimate benefit of all of DAM mission wide initiatives.
∎ Excellent computer skills.

∎ Age at most 45 Years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).

Salary:
∎ Tk. 43640 (Monthly)
∎ Other admissible benefits will be provided as per organizational policy and project fund availability.
