Key Responsibilities-Site Engineer

• Supervise erection, installation, and alignment of steel structures according to approved drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with fabrication team, contractors, and project manager to ensure smooth workflow.

• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements before execution.

• Ensure proper bolting, welding, and connection works as per standards and approved procedures.

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project schedule and milestones.

• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and ensure workmanship standards.

• Check material deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure proper storage on site.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, especially during lifting and erection activities.

• Supervise crane operations, rigging, and lifting plans during steel erection.

• Identify and resolve technical issues during installation.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Verify contractor bills and work completion measurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

• Experience in steel structure, warehouse, or shed construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of steel erection procedures, welding, and bolting standards.

• Ability to read AutoCAD/shop drawings.

• Knowledge of safety practices for lifting and working at height.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
