Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 45 years
∎ Strong English communication skills.
∎ Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners.
∎ Familiarity with inclusive education and behavioral support strategies.
∎ Knowledge of IB PYP framework (preferred but not mandatory).
∎ Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children, especially those requiring social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) support.
∎ Prior experience in early childhood education or Play Group classes.
∎ Understanding of individualized learning plans (ILPs) and behavior management strategies.
∎ Familiarity with multi-sensory teaching approaches.
∎ Experience in collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student development.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide one-on-one support to SEN students in the classroom.
∎ Assist in implementing individualized learning strategies.
∎ Collaborate with the homeroom teacher to facilitate inclusion.
∎ Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
∎ Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.
∎ Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student progress.
∎ Smart Innovations School is looking for a Shadow Teacher to support SEN (Special Educational Needs) students in the Play Group class. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English and knowledge of working with Social-Emotional and Behavioral (SEB) children. Prior experience in teaching and learning is preferred.
