Work Experience
At least ten years’ teaching experience, of which at least five (5) years should have been in a Supervisory role as Head of School or Deputy Head or Head of Department.
Working experience in IB schools will be an added advantage.
Demonstrable ability in school development as well as Academic and Sports results oriented approach·
A high level of computer literacy and exposure to modern technological teaching methods required.
Very strong appreciation and working knowledge of schools’ administration and finance.
Should have good interpersonal, problem-solving skills and proven people management and organizing skills.
Additional Experience Requirement
Experience in implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies that align with the IB philosophy.
Proven experience in teaching or administration within an IB school or familiarity with IB programs (PYP, MYP, DP, or CP).
Experience in strategic planning and school improvement initiatives that align with the IB mission and values.·
Experience in leading and promoting extracurricular activities that support the holistic development of students.

Position Overview: The Vice Principal will play a pivotal role in supporting the Principal in the overall management and administration of the school. This includes overseeing the implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The Vice Principal will also be responsible for fostering a positive school culture, promoting professional development among staff, and enhancing the school`s visibility and enrollment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Principal in allocating workloads and timetables, assigning classes and subjects to teachers based on their qualifications, competence, experience, and suitability.
Ensure that the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum is planned, designed, and implemented effectively.
Observe teaching methods and examine learning outcomes to ensure teachers utilize updated teaching materials, diverse teaching techniques, and advanced technology provided by the school.
Monitor and maintain the quality of teaching and correction work.
Ensure the smooth planning and execution of Academic, Co-Curricular, and other Events or Programmes as per the Academic Calendar of the School.
Prepare and send important school notices and maintain correspondence with parents and other stakeholders.
Promote the School to ensure good visibility, viability, and increase in enrollment.
Participate in Learning and Training activities and other employment initiatives for teachers and staff members to create a dynamic team.
Foster collaboration with other schools and organizations.
Oversee student acquisition and provide mentoring to parents.
Maintain public relations and uphold the school’s image.
