Responsibilities & Context:
Role Purpose
Provide individualized support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure successful participation, learning, and inclusion within the classroom environment while promoting independence.
Job Responsibilities
Support the student during lessons and school activities.
Assist with understanding instructions, completing tasks, and staying focused.
Implement learning accommodations and strategies recommended by the Coordinator or specialists.
Support the student's social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and relevant professionals.
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
Encourage independence and positive peer interactions.
Ensure the student's safety, well-being, and inclusion throughout the school day.
