Legal & Policy Knowledge: Understanding of immigration laws, visa regulations, and travel-related compliance procedures.
Ethical Standards: High level of integrity, confidentiality, and responsibility when handling personal and legal information.
Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases, and adapt to policy or regulatory changes.
Assess and Process Visa Applications: Evaluate tourist visa applications to ensure compliance with immigration policies and legal requirements of first-world countries (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Schengen States, etc.).
Document Verification: Thoroughly examine supporting documents, including financial records, travel itineraries, employment letters, and invitation letters, to confirm authenticity and eligibility.
Interview Applicants: Conduct in-person or virtual interviews with applicants to verify travel intent, assess risk factors, and ensure accurate information disclosure.
Maintain Accurate Records: Update and manage case files and immigration databases with timely, detailed, and accurate entries of all application processing activities.
Compliance and Security: Ensure decisions align with relevant immigration laws and security protocols; report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
Customer Service: Provide clear, professional guidance to applicants on visa requirements, processing timelines, and appeal procedures.
Liaison and Coordination: Collaborate with consulates, embassies, and third-party service providers to streamline visa processing and policy updates.
Policy Awareness: Stay current on visa regulations, immigration policy changes, and international travel trends impacting visa issuance.
