∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in related area
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds or graphics and watching the finished product to catch mistakes before submitting it for review.
∎ Following an outline, script or shot list and assembling the footage into one cohesive video or film.
∎ Review all the footage and create the best output by cutting and connecting various footage, adding sound effects and graphics and fine-tuning the completed video or film
∎ Following a script, screenplay or outline
∎ Sometimes do the shooting part also
∎ Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
∎ Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
∎ Working closely with supervisor to present a final product that matches his or her vision
∎ Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
∎ Improve video and sound quality using various video software
∎ Meeting with the supervisor to determine production vision.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Any training on professional video editing is preferred
∎ Minimum 3 years in related field
∎ Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Premier.
∎ Creative and artistic skills.
∎ Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
∎ Ability to work to a tight schedule.
∎ Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
∎ Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
∎ Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
∎ Knowledge on Design & Animation is preferred
∎ Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products
