• Preference given to candidates with RHCSE, MCSE, Kubernetes, HPE, Oracle, DELL, IBM, or similar system-related vendor certifications

• Certifications in various Network Standards are an added advantage

Must not exceed 42 years of age as on February 26, 2026.

Skill Requirement

• Expertise in virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi/vCenter, AHV, Hyper-V, or KVM

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) covering VM deployment, storage and networking.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes and Helm

• Proficiency with storage solutions (SAN/NAS, RAID) and backup/recovery tools

• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and IAM policies.

• Deep proficiency in troubleshooting and managing both Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems

Experience Requirement

• Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience in system-related fields, preferably in Banks, Telcos, or Large Organizations

• Required experience in Hyperconverged Infrastructure, enterprise storage systems, Data Center Operations and Country IT Infrastructure (end-user device) management.

• Proven track record in local and foreign partner/OEM management, negotiations and technical project planning and execution.

Jamuna Bank PLC is building a robust, technology-driven foundation for modern banking. We are hiring a talented Senior System Engineer to maintain our virtualization platforms, cloud services and storage systems at our Corporate Head Office in Dhaka.

Job Level: Mid (EO-SEO)

Job Context:

Reporting to the Head of Systems Administration, this role manages and optimizes the bank's IT infrastructure systems. The position involves supporting Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, cloud services and storage, while acting as a senior team member to troubleshoot issues and ensure secure, high-performance IT operations

Responsibilities:

• Administer and configure Windows and Linux environments, ensuring adherence to latest administration standards

• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix AHV, and Hyper-V, including VM deployment and resource pools

• Maintain SAN/NAS storage systems (HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp) and oversee backup/restore strategies using tools like Veeam and Commvault

• Perform regular system patching, kernel updates and performance tuning to proactively optimize resource utilization.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes clusters, whether on-premise or in the cloud

• Manage Active Directory, DNS and Exchange Server infrastructure

• Support enterprise network management and security solutions, including NGFW, SIEM/SOAR and PAM

• Ensure and support 24/7 Data Center operation management and disaster recovery planning.
