Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the overall growth of UNB’s Bangla section
∎ Lead the team that works in different shifts of the day
∎ Edit copy, written by reporters and feature writers, to remove spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, crosscheck information, and improve the overall quality of stories.
∎ Maintain communication with reporters, and editors in the UNB newsroom.
∎ Check facts and stories to ensure they are accurate, adhere to copyright laws, are not libelous, or go against the publication's policy.
∎ Work on a plan to ensure that the right stories appear in the correct place.
∎ Follow the code of conduct of the newsroom.
