Job Description :
Bangladesh Specialized Hospital PLC (BSH) is looking for a skilled and dedicated Sr. Staff Nurse for Cardiac OT / Cardiac ICU dept. to join our healthcare team. This position will play a crucial role in assisting the cardiac surgical team during various types of cardiac surgeries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing the surgical environment, assisting with patient positioning, ensuring proper equipment function, and providing direct patient care throughout the surgery.
Job Responsibilities:
Surgical Preparation:
Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for cardiac surgery.
Patient Care:
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications as directed, and provide emotional support to patients during surgery.
Equipment Management:
Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and other devices used in cardiac surgery.
Surgical Assistance:
Assist surgeons with procedures, including instrument handling, tissue handling, and maintaining a sterile field.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, medications administered, and patient vital signs.
Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other members of the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses.
Emergency Response:
Act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest or other complications during surgery.
